Visual Basics 2008, help!?

I'm deleoping a software called Kaq and at the moment its very simple. Basicly you type somthing to it and it responds. Is there anyway way of making it so when i put in somthing like "My day was bad" it would be able to regonise Bad and have a response to that, but if i put Good it would have a diffrent response?
