Can I major in engineering in college if I am in algebra my freshman year of highschool?
Hi. I'm 15 and completing my freshman year of college. Now I'm starting to think about my future and I'm really considering electrical engineering as a major. The only problem I have is, most people say that in order to be an engineer, you have to be a genius in math. I was in honors math my 8th grade yr and I took Algebra 1. This yr I switched school districts and they made me take it over again even though that was my strongest subject in 8th grade. So starting my Sophomore yr, I'll be taking Geometry 300. I plan on working really hard and getting recommended for AAT 400 my junior yr. So my question is, can I consider engineering as a major if I took Algebra 1 my freshman yr? I really want to be an engineer. I have so many ideas and dreams that I want to come true. i think I could create the next big thing. Please let me know( no negative pessimistic answers, please)
